The Atlanta Hawks and Kent Bazemore have agreed to terms on a two-year, $4 million contract, reports ESPN's Marc Stein. Bazemore finished the season strong after being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers and has found his way to a playoff contender.

The Hawks’ wing depth was a roster need going into the offseason, and Bazemore is a young player they can work into their rotation off the bench if he performs well. He averaged 13.1 points, 3.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game through 23 games with the Lakers.
The third-year guard went undrafted out of Old Dominion University and is still largely unproven. The $4 million contract is a small financial commitment for the Hawks that shouldn’t negatively affect their salary structure if he doesn’t break in to head coach Mike Budenholzer’s rotation.
Atlanta finished the season with a 38-44 record and pushed the Indiana Pacers to Game 7 in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
