The Charlotte Hornets and Marvin Williams have agreed to terms on a two-year, $14 million contract, reports Yahoo Sports' Marc J. Spears. The Hornets' $63 million offer sheet to Gordon Hayward was matched by the Utah Jazz, but Charlotte will now add the second overall pick of the 2005 NBA Draft for additional wing depth.

Williams spent the last two seasons with the Jazz, but became an expendable piece with Hayward, Alec Burks and incoming rookie Dante Exum likely filling out their wing rotation.
The Hornets add Williams into their roster with both Gerald Henderson and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in place as starters. Charlotte's wing depth was slim last season, relying on heavy minutes from Chris Douglas-Roberts through their four-game series against the Miami Heat.
Wiliams’ deal with the Hornets is fully guaranteed and without options. He averaged 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 25.4 minutes per game last season with the Jazz and has shot 33 percent from beyond the arc through his career.
