USA Basketball finalized its 19-man training camp roster by adding Chandler Parsons and DeMar DeRozan to a group of players vying for roster spots on the 2014 World Cup team. The camp in Las Vegas will help coach Mike Krzyzewski pare down the group to a 12-man roster than will prepare for an August 30 opening game against Finland.
Chandler Parsons, DeMar Derozan make USA Basketball’s training camp roster
Chandler Parsons and DeMar DeRozan were late additions to the training camp roster for Team USA as it prepares for the 2014 World Cup in Spain.

Kevin Durant and Kevin Love are the most veteran members of the club, having played for both the 2012 Olympic squad and the 2010 World Championship team. With Kobe Bryant's recent injury history and LeBron James' decision to sit out this offseason, the final roster for the World Cup in Spain will have its share of surprises.
The training camp roster doesn't include Washington Wizards point guard John Wall, but Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that he could be added to camp or the World Cup team later. And according to the San Antonio Express-News' Mike Monroe, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard has withdrawn from the roster.
Forward Anthony Davis could work himself into a significant role after being at the very end of the bench for the 2012 gold medal squad. And the 2014 version of Team USA will give younger stars such as Kyrie Irving, Paul George and James Harden a chance to grow.
