Monday marked Day 4 of the Las Vegas Summer League, with eight games on the docket. Let’s take a look at the action.
Las Vegas Summer League 2014: Rodney Hood puts on impressive shooting display
Hood outdueled his former college teammate Jabari Parker on the fourth day of Las Vegas Summer League.


Utah Jazz 87, Milwaukee Bucks 71
Two former college teammates in Jabari Parker and Rodney Hood went at it, but it was the less-heralded Hood who came away victorious on this night. Hood put on quite the shooting display, pouring in 29 points and knocking down 7-of-10 shots from long range:
Parker had a solid game in his own right, scoring 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 15 points and a nasty dunk on Rudy Gobert:
Dante Exum had a quiet game, scoring just six points on 2-of-6 shooting.
Andrew Wiggins and Nerlens Noel are two of the best prospects playing in Vegas, and they both had highlight reel plays on Monday. Wiggins showed off on both ends of the court, first throwing down a nasty dunk:

Noel had a big moment of his own, rejecting Anthony Bennett at the rim:
Noel had the more impressive line, scoring 12 points and grabbing six rebounds to go along with four blocks. Wiggins had 10 points, three rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Bennett had 14 points, while Matthew Dellavedova scored a game-high 19 points.
New York Knicks 95, Charlotte Hornets 72
The Knicks blitzed the Hornets from the start, getting several strong performances from their youngsters in the easy victory. Jeremy Tyler led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds, while Tim Hardaway Jr. added 17 points. The recently acquired Shane Larkin added 14 points. Cleanthony Early and Cole Aldrich both sat with injuries. Although Charlotte got smashed, it did get some solid efforts out of its prized prospects. Rookies P.J. Hairston and Noah Vonleh both scored in double figures, with Hairston notching 18 points and Vonleh 13 points. Cody Zeller also had 18 points.
Sacramento Kings 89, D-League Select 75
The Kings got balanced scoring in their victory, with all five starters reaching double figures. Sacramento's prized young shooting guards both played well, as Ben McLemore scored a team-high 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting and Nik Stauskas had 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Derrick Williams added 17 points. For the D-League Select squad, Devin Ebanks scored a game-high 22 points.
Dallas Mavericks 88, Toronto Raptors 57
Ricky Ledo was the star for the Mavs in a beat down of the Raptors, scoring 18 points and handing out five assists. Dallas shot over 50 percent from the field. Meanwhile, Toronto put forth an absolutely woeful offensive effort. The Raptors shot just over 30 percent, and they also turned the ball over 30 times. DeAndre Daniels did play well, scoring 16 points. Bruno Caboclo had 12 points.
Darius Morris had 19 points to lead the Spurs to a narrow victory over the Pelicans. The game was won on a late bucket by Jeff Ayres. Austin Daye chipped in 18 points, while Kyle Anderson had nine points and three assists. DeQuan Jones had 20 points to lead New Orleans. Russ Smith notched a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists.
Los Angeles Clippers 91, Miami Heat 85
In a foul-filled affair, the Clippers came out on top against the Heat thanks in large part to 27 points from Amath M’Baye. Lorenzo Brown also played a key role, scoring 22 points and knocking down several clutch buckets in the last few minutes. Scott Suggs had 14 points to lead Miami. Shabazz Napier struggled, scoring just eight points on 2-of-8 shooting.
Los Angeles Lakers 89, Golden State Warriors 88 (OT)
Jordan Clarkson had 19 points and a tip-in as time expired to give the Lakers a victory over the Warriors:
Julius Randle had 14 points, four rebounds and three assists in the win. Justin Holiday led the Warriors with 26 points on 9-of-18 shooting. James Michael McAdoo had 14 points and eight rebounds, while Aaron Craft had 13 points off the bench for Golden State.
