The longtime Heat big man will be back in Miami.

The Miami Heat and Udonis Haslem have agreed to terms on a two-year contract, the team announced. The deal is expected to be worth $5.5 million through the use of the mid-level exception, reports ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Haslem opted-out of his $4.6 million contract to allow Miami the flexibility to rebuild the roster going into free agency. Miami has rewarded him by tacking on an additional year and more guaranteed money than he would have made if he opted-in. Haslem will re-join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in South Beach as they move in a new direction without LeBron James.

Haslem has spent his entire 11-year career with the Heat after going undrafted in the 2002 NBA Draft. He’s won three championships in Miami and is the all-time franchise leader in rebounding, pulling down 5,332 total boards.

He averaged career lows in points, minutes and rebounds per game during the 2013-14 season, playing a reduced role and appearing in just 46 games.
