The consolation round is over in Las Vegas, but the quest for a Summer League championship moves forward with the quarterfinals on Saturday. There will be plenty of talent to watch at the Thomas & Mack Center before the NBA goes into hibernation until training camps start up.
NBA Summer League 2014: Day 9 schedule, TV times, and who to watch
The quarterfinals are set in Las Vegas as basketball gets even closer to fading away until training camp.


Charlotte Hornets vs. New York Knicks, 4 p.m. ET
Players to watch: Tim Hardaway Jr. has been lighting it up for the Knicks' Summer League team, averaging 21.5 points per game. Toss in the Hornets' rookie P.J. Hairston, and it should be an interesting matchup of wing players. Noah Vonleh is another player to keep an eye on. He's been great on the glass, pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game, but he's shooting just 27.5 percent from the field.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Houston Rockets, 6 p.m.
Players to watch: Isiah Canaan is a player the Rockets, a team looking to contend, will have to lean on after Jeremy Lin was traded to the Lakers. He's led the team in scoring in Las Vegas, dropping 17 points per game. 7'3 Walter Tavares is another player to keep an eye on for the Hawks. He's averaging 1.4 blocks per game.
Sacramento Kings vs. Chicago Bulls, 8 p.m.
Players to watch: Nik Stauskas has been incredibly efficient for the Kings, scoring 10.5 points per game on 50 percent shooting from three-point range and 60 percent from the field. Ben McLemore leads Sacramento in scoring with 15.5 points per game. Doug McDermott has been putting numbers on the board for Chicago, scoring 18 points per game while shooting 44 percent from deep, but Tony Snell has dominated Summer League. He's scoring 20 points per game and shooting an astonishing 50 percent from long range.
San Antonio Spurs vs. Washington Wizards, 10 p.m.
Players to watch: The final game of the night features the leading scorer through Las Vegas Summer League, Glen Rice Jr. He's averaging 22.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field. Otto Porter has also had a good run through his second Las Vegas Summer League experience, averaging 17.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
