Good morning, LeBron still remembers ‘Shaq Fu’ moves
That and more in our NBA newsletter.

Good morning. Let’s basketball.
APPETIZER: The Cavaliers traded Felix Carrick for three unguaranteed contracts to try to put together a trade package for Kevin Love. Let’s hope this isn’t the Shabazz Napier pick of Cleveland’s summer! Regardless, it appears Andrew Wiggins is on the table in a Love deal. No package can top that, so only Minnesota’s stubbornness should stop us now.
WELP: The NBA-installed interim CEO of the Clippers, Dick Parsons, testified on Tuesday that Doc Rivers will quit if Donald Sterling remains the owner of the team. That’s a powerful stand by Rivers ... even though Sterling would probably fire Doc at first opportunity if he somehow keeps the team.
WHOOPS: Some NBA stars (including James Harden and Kawhi Leonard) were going to get paid to do some basketball things in Manila until the league pointed out it wasn’t an NBA-sanctioned event. This is an interesting issue. Are NBA stars barred by the uniform player contract from getting paid to show off their skills outside of league action and its sanctioned events?
PUNT! BROTHERS! The Punt Brothers invited on Mike Prada to chat about Summer League, the NBA’s gag reel.
KINGS OF CONFUSION: Zach Lowe takes a deep dive on the Kings’ offseason.
ARTIST: Desmond Mason has an art exhibition in Vegas right now. Dez as artist continues to be one of the cooler post-playing career.
COMPULSORY LINK: GQ’s Kanye West cover story is out.
Happy Wednesday. See you next time.
