Sebastian Telfair has agreed to a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum with the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to Chris Haynes of CSN Northwest.

Telfair, the once highly touted point-guard prospect, was out of the NBA last year after finishing the 2012-13 season with the Toronto Raptors. The 29-year-old played last season in the Chinese Basketball Association.
The Thunder will be Telfair’s eighth different team. The former first-round pick has never spent more than two years with the same team, and he’s played more than 70 games in a season just twice. He has career averages of 7.4 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 39.1 percent from the field.
Telfair has clearly been a disappointment over the course of his career, but this is a low-risk signing at the minimum for Oklahoma City. The Thunder needed more depth at point-guard with Derek Fisher retiring to go coach the New York Knicks, and taking a cheap chance on a player who came into the league with a lot of talent isn't the worst way to go.
