The Atlanta Hawks and restricted free agent Mike Scott have agreed to a three-year, $10 million contract, reports Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. Scott was drafted with the 43rd overall pick in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft and has spent the last two seasons with Atlanta.

Scott saw a significant increase in minutes last season, playing in 80 games for Atlanta and averaging 18.5 minutes per game. He helps fill out Atlanta’s forward depth, giving the Hawks a rotation player familiar with their personnel. Scott averaged 9.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game last season.

Atlanta will retain the developing third-year player who was a huge bench presence through the NBA Playoffs. The Hawks were eliminated in seven games by the Indiana Pacers, but Scott was a key contributor in the postseason. His 17-point outburst while shooting 5-of-6 from beyond the arc in Game 5 was a breakout performance.
