Good morning, LeBron is never leaving Ohio again
That and more in Monday’s NBA newsletter.

Good morning. Let’s basketball.
FOREVER, FOREVER EVER? LeBron addressed the masses in Akron on Friday, telling them he’s “not going anywhere.” One takes that to mean he’ll be staying with the Cavaliers for the rest of his career, and further comments reinforce that reading. But forever’s a long time, man.
SURE: Andrew Wiggins has convinced himself he’s glad to be traded away from the Cavaliers so that he can be his own “something” as opposed to a piece on a title contender. We’ll see if his attitude holds when he’s watching Corey Brewer and J.J. Barea fire up threes for a 20-win team in February.
THE HEROIC LOSERS: I wrote about Mitch Richmond going into the Hall of Fame but also about how we can appreciate players who never had much team success.
KD’S IMPACT: Kevin Durant pulling out of Team USA hurts the FIBA World Cup itself more than it hurts the American team, writes Ball In Europe. By the way, Rudy Gay will replace Durant on the 15-man roster.
SEEMS REASONABLE: Dan Le Batard finally got someone in Cleveland to take his money in exchange for publishing his LeBron joke. It ended up on billboards. ESPN promptly suspended Le Batard.
GOOD QUESTION: Which Spurs team has been the most decorated Spurs team ever? Was it 2013-14?
OH YES: Remember last week when I linked to Joe Mande’s word association NBA team name list? Well people created logos for those teams. New York Anxiety, Brooklyn Bloggers and Atlanta Strip Clubs are just too good.
SHE AIGHT: Via Devine, Nick Young reviews his girlfriend Iggy Azalea’s album.
Happy Monday. See you next time.
