As the Cleveland Cavaliers wait for their trade for Kevin Love to go through, they'll be looking to upgrade other weaknesses on the roster. Before and after the signing of LeBron James and the expected Love deal, the Cavs lacked a proven rim-protecting big man outside of Anderson Varejao. They apparently inquired about trading for Denver Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov, according to Sports.ru's Alexander Chernykh.
NBA roundup: Cavaliers eyed Timofey Mozgov, Nemanja Nedovic’s injury not a broken foot
The Cavaliers reportedly had interest in Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov, and Warriors guard Nemanja Nedovic apparently does not have a broken foot.

First-year Cavaliers coach David Blatt apparently told Russian news agency ITAR-TASS that Cleveland had interest in Mozgov and also Timberwolves guard Alexey Shved, though neither is expected to come to fruition.
Blatt coached Mozgov and Shved when he led the Russian national team. Mozgov would be an intriguing addition in Cleveland but seemingly has a lot of room for growth with the Nuggets. Denver has little reason to consider trading him. The takeaway from the news is that the Cavs could certainly use another frontcourt upgrade and could be looking for it.
Nedovic waits for diagnosis
The Golden State Warriors feared that Nemanja Nedovic had suffered a stress fracture in his foot, but there was a bit of better news this weekend. Sportando reported the injury is not a break and Nedovic is even hoping to get back to playing for the Serbian national team this summer.
And MRI earlier last week was not definitive, and Warriors coach Steve Kerr was remaining positive, reports beat writer Diamond Leung. The most recent non-update came Saturday on Nedovic’s Instagram feed.
Nedovic’s health won’t be an issue for the Warriors this season but his development will be aided by him being able to play for his national team this summer.
Free agents Singleton, Lee work out
Free agent forward Chris Singleton and guard Malcolm Lee were working out for NBA teams on Monday, according to Marc. J. Spears. The 6'9, 238 pound Singleton played in 25 games for the Washington Wizards last year and averaged three points and two rebounds per game. Lee has been working to recover from several injuries and didn't play last season after being traded on draft night and again before the start of the regular season. He was waived by the Wizards after being dealt to DC in the Marcin Gortat trade involving Phoenix.
