The annual NBA rookie survey is in, and the 2014 class expects second-overall pick Jabari Parker to make an impact in the NBA immediately. Parker received 52.8 percent of votes for who will take Rookie of the Year honors, and 45.9 percent of his fellow incoming draftees believe he will have the best NBA career out of the 2014 draft class.

Parker will be expected to become an elite scorer with the Milwaukee Bucks, giving them a superstar player on offense who can be the centerpiece of their franchise. He averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in his one-and-done year with the Duke Blue Devils, and is often labeled as the most "NBA-ready" offensive weapon in the draft class.

Considering Parker produced an eight-minute super-clip of highlights through Las Vegas Summer League, that might be a good sign for the landslide vote results:

The 2013 NBA Draft class tallied a tie vote between C.J. McCollum and Victor Oladipo for Rookie of the Year, and had another tie between Oladipo and Kelly Olynyk for which player would have the best career.

As for the other "big" category, Joel Embiid took 20 percent of the "funniest" vote, which has been an area of his game he's been exploring pretty openly via Twitter as he works his way to Rihanna's heart:

Rihanna eventually followed the third-overall pick on Twitter. This was after he tweeted about "sliding" into Kim Kardashian's direct messages, and had a good time trying to recruit LeBron James to the Philadelphia 76ers. Storybook stuff here, and a big bar set for last year's winner, Ricky Ledo, to clear.
