Lance Stephenson was in a familiar spot in the final six minutes of regulation and all of overtime in the Charlotte Hornets 80-71 win over the Indiana Pacers Saturday: the bench. In what has become a familiar pattern for Hornets coach Steve Clifford, he put Stephenson on the bench for the game's most crucial minutes.
NBA trade rumors roundup: Lance Stephenson wants to help Hornets
More on the latest rumors surrounding Lance Stephenson, Jordan Farmar and Nate Robinson.

Stephenson, who’s name has been prominent in trade rumors, said he wasn’t going to be frustrated with the lack of playing time. Speaking to the trade rumors, Stephenson told Scott Fowler of the Charlotte Observer, “I want to be here. I feel I can definitely help this squad ... It’s really not up to me.”
For now, Stephenson is a Hornet, even if a trade is still possible. Stephenson was almost traded to the Nets in a deal involving Brook Lopez and the Charlotte Hornets. With that deal falling through, teams like the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and the Pacers could emerge as a trade destination for Stephenson. It's no secret the Hornets are trying to move Stephenson, but Stephenson is at least saying he wants to help them out if he can.

Cavaliers have expressed interest in Jordan Farmar and Nate Robinson
The Cleveland Cavaliers are active in their search for a backup point guard. The Cavaliers are "feeling out" Jordan Farmar, recently waived by the Los Angeles Clippers, as a possible backup to Kyrie Irving, according to Chris Haynes of the Northeast Ohio Media Group. Farmar clears waivers Sunday. Nate Robinson is also a possible choice for Cleveland.
Robinson doesn't fit a need for this Cavaliers team. He's a score-first player and adding him to a group that already features LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and J.R. Smith. Robinson also hasn't been as productive in his return from a torn ACL he suffered last season. If the Cavaliers are interested in finding an upgrade over Matthew Dellavedova at backup point guard, [they should look at] Jordan Farmar, a more traditional pass first point guard.
The Cavaliers have an open roster spot, so would be able to sign either player outright.

Jazz signed Elliott Wlliams to a second 10-day contract
After averaging 2.7 points and 8.6 minutes in three games with the Utah Jazz in his first 10-day contract signed Jan. 7, Elliott William's is getting 10 more days with the Utah Jazz. Williams, the 13th call-up from the D-League this season according to NBA.com, was averaging 21.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 1.3 steals in 37.2 minutes in 16 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
SLC Dunk believes Williams can have an impact for the Jazz:
I love it because I think Williams, once called the best guard in the NBA-DL, can actually help an NBA team. While he does not have the overt defensive hands-iness on Elijah Millsap, he can do a few good things on offense and defense and help the team fill out some much needed wing depth. Not having Alec Burks around has made this team re-adjust and re-focus what they do on the court. Rodney Hood being in and out of the lineup made scouring the DL absolutely necessary.
