Watch Russell Westbrook’s game-winning layup to beat the Wizards

A wild, fun Wizards-Thunder game ultimately ended in as weird a way as possible. The Wizards denied every inbound pass to Kevin Durant, only for Russell Westbrook to sneak away and go right down the lane for the game-winning layup. Blame Bradley Beal for overpursuing Westbrook at the start, John Wall for not rotating off his corner shooter and Paul Pierce for failing to step up around Steven Adams to take a charge.

Most of all, though, blame Russell Westbrook for making too damn good a play.
