The Golden State Warriors are the best team in the league. They have crushed the competition on their way to a 34-6 record and they are showing no signs of slowing down. Stephen Curry is playing like an MVP candidate, Klay Thompson is rewarding the front office's trust in him and Steve Kerr has built on the foundation Mark Jackson left to lead the team to the best defensive efficiency and the third-best offensive efficiency in the league. They are a legitimate contender, potentially even the favorite to win the title.
Draymond Green mocks Rockets over James Harden’s inaccurate pep talk
James Harden said the Warriors “aren’t even that good” and Green decided to respond to him after Golden State swept the season series.

Which is why is surprising that James Harden said in a pre-game huddle that they aren't even that good:
As the clip shows, the Warriors had already beaten the Rockets twice at that point. They would go on to beat them again that night, 131-106. After the video surfaced, the two teams met again for the last of the four games of the season series Wednesday. The Warriors won in a blowout, 126-113, having led by as much as 30 points at one point. So forward Draymond Green decided to respond to Harden, as reported by Inside the Warriors:
Q: With the way you guys have been beating teams lately, do you think getting up by these big margins might have that effect on teams?
A: I mean, I’m sure they were a little frustrated because we’re not that good. So to get up by 20 like that in the half and then come out in the third quarter I’m sure is a little frustrating. But hey, we’re not that good. Shouldn’t be up by 20 at half. Happens though, right?
Q: What’d you think of that, ‘They’re not that good’ thing?
A: Uh, he’s right. We’re nowhere near where we’re going to be at the end of this year. We’ve got to continue to get better and stay healthy and then we’ll look back at this point in the season and say, ‘Man, we weren’t that good.’ So he’s right.
Green had 18 points, six rebounds and two assists in the game that sealed the season series sweep. At that point, the only thing to do for Houston was to avoid any further confrontation and move on. There really was nothing more to say.

It's clear these teams don't like each other. The Warriors tend to rub people the wrong way, as they also have a rivalry with the Clippers. But as long as they keep winning, they'll get to have fun with their post-game quotes and their opponents will have to deal with it and make their statements on the court when they get the chance.
