LeBron James has been tremendous for the Cleveland Cavaliers since returning from an eight-game absence to rest an ailing knee and back. When Cleveland hosts the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, James will be out of the lineup with a different injury. This time is a sore wrist.
LeBron James injury: Cavs star out vs. Trail Blazers with sore wrist
The four-time MVP won’t be in the lineup for the Cavs on Wednesday.

James suffered the injury in the Cavs’ win over the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday during a 32-point, seven-assist, six-rebound performance. The Cavs have won seven games in a row, and James is leading the way. He’s averaging 30.5 points per game on over 50 percent shooting since returning to the lineup.
After Portland, the Cavs have an easy stretch on the schedule that could allow James to sit for additional time, if need be. Cleveland hosts the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, travels to Minnesota to play the Timberwolves on Saturday and hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
Portland enters the game in third place in the Western Conference, but as losers of five of its last seven games.
