Good morning. The 2015 NBA All-Star reserves have been announced. In the East, the major controversy is Dwyane Wade’s inclusion over snubs including Kyle Korver, Brandon Knight and the recently injured Brandon Jennings. In the West, both Damian Lillard and DeMarcus Cousins were left off the roster in favor of Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Here are the current rosters as well as the participants in the other announced contests.

The West will get one sure injury replacement (for Kobe Bryant), and the commissioner will make that decision soon. Wade might actually miss some time too, which could get Korver or Knight into the game. LaMarcus Aldridge is the only other player battling a serious injury right now; he delayed thumb surgery after watching his Blazers get beat by the Celtics.

We’ll talk about the Cousins snub in Friday’s Hook, by the way. Onward. Let’s basketball.

LAST NIGHT IN HALF A MINUTE: The Bucks pounded the Magic, and now it looks like Jacque Vaughn might get canned. The Grizzlies beat the Nuggets by 30 without even breaking 100, which I find mad impressive. The Knicks lost by 21 to the Pacers. But in the coup de grace of a weird day, the Lakers beat the Bulls in double overtime. The trio of Jordan Hill, Wayne Ellington and Jordan Clarkson is actually kind of nice.

Here are your recaps.

LIL’ DUN: Mike Dunleavy Jr. is sliding into this newsletter like ...

THERE GOES YOUR SOCIAL LIFE: Kevin Harlan got hit in the face with a ball, but lived to crack a joke about it.

REAL MATURE: The Timberwolves are being total class acts regarding Kevin Love’s return to Minnesota with the Cavs. (No, but this is pretty funny.)

ON THE WARRIORS: Nice deep piece by Ken Berger on the Warriors. I enjoyed Alvin Gentry saying his job is like playing 2K15.

IN HOUSTON: Dwight Howard might miss some more time. Luckily, the Rockets have survived his previous absences this season.

THIBS: Tom Thibodeau defends his coaching style.

HEY YOU: Our NBA team sites are recruiting. Find out more.

Happy Friday. See you next time.
