Russell Westbrook uses incredible closing speed to swat Marcus Smart

Marcus Smart had a step on Russell Westbrook -- but a step wasn't enough. Thinking he had time to go up for an easy lay-in, Smart went up for what he thought was a simple score. But Russell Westbrook closed like a blitzing strong safety with two insanely quick steps and exploded to block Smart's shot into the backboard with authority.

It wasn’t enough for a win, though. The Celtics beat the Thunder, 100-85, by dominating the Thunder down the stretch. Even in a loss, there’s always a lesson from Westbrook: YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH SPACE AGAINST RUSSELL WESTBROOK. HE WILL CHASE YOU DOWN.
