Good morning. Let’s basketball.
Marcelo Huertas is still wandering around Phoenix, wondering where Brandon Knight went
Good morning. Yes. Good morning. We have that and much more in Tuesday’s NBA newsletter.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT: The Bulls beat the Pacers in a barnburner in Chicago as Jimmy Butler blocked Paul George’s game-winning attempt at the buzzer. I could go for a playoff series between these teams. The Grizzlies beat the Thunder in a statement game of sorts as Mario Chalmers exploded for 29. Boston perpetuated Houston’s misery with a solid win. Dallas kept the Sixers winless (0-11). LaMarcus Aldridge and the Spurs beat Portland (again). And finally, Brandon Knight had a monster triple-double (30-15-10) and caused Marcelo Huertas to spin right off the face of the Earth in a Suns win over the Lakers.
AND I’M PLUM OUT OF BUBBLE GUM: Kawhi Leonard is not going to dunk less hard just because you’re standing in front of him, Mason Plumlee.
A VERY SIXERS SEQUENCE: Jahlil Okafor with a monster block, followed by him throwing it off of his unaware point guard’s back.
DIAGNOSING DRAGIC: What’s behind Goran Dragic’s slow start?
EXCELLENT ENTERTAINMENT: If blogging exclusively about baby racing were a socially acceptable career choice, I’d totally do it.
HOOP SUTRA: This Jason King story on Kentucky’s Jamal Murray, a prized point guard, is incredible in its revelation that Murray leans heavily on meditation to center his mind and body and improve his performance. His father sounds pretty hardcore -- competitive basketball leagues at age 6! -- but the meditation and mindful reflection is really cool to see a college player be open about.
EUROLEAGUE EVERYWHERE: Via REDEF, a look at how Euroleague is trying to reach audiences all over the world.
TONIGHT: NBA TV’s doubleheader has Bucks-Wizards at 7 p.m. ET and Raptors-Warriors at 10:30 p.m. ET. Will this be the night the Dubs fall?! Cavs-Pistons, Wolves-Heat and Hornets-Knicks are among the night’s other action.
Happy Tuesday. See you next time.
