Good morning. Let’s basketball.
Steph Curry went from 0 to 17 points real quick
Good morning. That and more in Tuesday’s NBA newsletter.

GOOD GRACIOUS: There was about 3 1/2 minutes at the end of the first half of the Warriors-Kings game that was one of the greatest shooting displays I’ve ever seen. Surprise! Steph Curry was involved. He hit five threes in short order. Watch them. Omri Casspi was also involved, seemingly daring Steph to go deeper and deeper. Steph obliged. The only regret is that but for one drive and dish by Seth Curry, the brothers (who were both on the court) didn’t nail any triples in the others’ faces.
STANDINGS CHECK: Utah now has a two-game bumper as No. 8 in the West. A whopping nine teams are within two games of the No. 2 in the East. At least two of those teams won’t make the playoffs.
SPEAKING OF THE STANDINGS ... I broke down the rather hilarious and seemingly meaningless race for the West No. 8 seed.
NO, THANK YOU: I would not like to drink wine from a Jeff Teague goblet.
GOOD QUESTION: What the hell happened to the Suns? Here’s Zach Lowe breaking down the tumult, and Marc Spears adding to the fire with a report about the bizarre Markieff Morris situation.
THINGS ARE HAPPENING: Chris Paul dunked on the Wizards!
AGAIN WITH THE BATS! This time, it was the San Antonio Coyote (wearing a Batman suit) who caught a live bat in the arena. Manu get the day off or something?
THIS IS ONE WAY TO HELP UP A TEAMMATE: DeMarcus Cousins, who I’m quite cross with right now, tried to pull Rondo up by his leg. It ... didn’t work.
HEY! C.J. McCollum, huh?
ACCURATE: John Wall thinks All-Star voting is a joke. I wonder if this has anything to do with Kyrie Irving being currently in position to start despite just coming back from injury. Either way, Wall’s right.
TONIGHT TONIGHT: NBA TV’s Fan Night game features the Bucks vs. the Thunder (the Desmond Mason Game). Atlanta-Houston and Memphis-Miami should also be entertaining.
Happy Tuesday. See you next time.
