Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love left a game against the Miami Heat in the third quarter on Wednesday after getting poked in the eye by Mario Chalmers. Love was taken to the locker room and did not return. He was diagnosed with a right corneal abrasion and will be re-evaluated on Thursday.

The Cavs play the Bulls on TNT on Thursday, and Love will travel with the team to Chicago.

Love had 12 points, six rebounds and four assists in 20 minutes when he left the game. The Cavaliers would go on to win 113-93 with seven different scorers finishing in double figures. Timofey Mozgov led the way with 20 points, while LeBron James added 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.
Love had been playing well lately, finishing with 32 points and 10 rebounds in Cleveland’s last game against the Lakers. The Cavs have now won 14 of their last 15 games.
