Rose is burning the Cavs


Derrick Rose is on fire against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is a good example of how he’s playing on Thursday night: fast, aggressive and fearless. Rose turned on the jets for this basket at the end of the third quarter to give him 26 points heading into the fourth. His season high is 32 points and there’s a good chance he gets there.
When Rose is attacking and not settling for three-pointers, good things happen. He only took two through the first three quarters, instead choosing to go at Kyrie Irving and company. It’s working so far.

Barkley doesn’t think Cousins should consult Kings

David Richard-USA TODAY SportsCharles Barkley and DeMarcus Cousins have never been shy about their feelings for each other. Barkley has been critical of Cousins throughout his career. In response, Cousins once said of Barkley, “I have no respect for you and never will.”
On Thursday, TNT was discussing the current state of Cousins’ Sacramento Kings, who just fired interim coach Ty Corbin to hire George Karl. The panel was talking about the idea of Cousins have consulting power within the organization, potentially in response to a report that Cousins’ camp wasn’t in favor of hiring Karl. Cousins was known to be a big proponent of former head coach Mike Malone, who the Kings fired earlier this year.
