NBA All-Star Celebrity Game: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The NBA will kick off its All-Star weekend with the celebrity game with Team Carmelo Anthony facing off against Team Spike Lee.

The celebrity game has become a tradition on All-Star weekend. Celebrities from all fields -- entertainment, sports, even politics -- have taken part. This year is no different, with luminaries from different disciplines gathering in New York City to awkwardly dribble and shoot on the first day of the NBA’s mid-season celebration.

The rosters have been set and the two teams will be coached, respectively, by Carmelo Anthony and Spike Lee. ESPN radio hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg will be their assistants.

Isaiah Austin will also be an assistant coach. Austin is a former Baylor University basketball star who was diagnosed with Maran Syndrome, a disease which affects the connective tissues in the body, over the summer. Austin was projected as a first-round pick prior to his diagnosis and now acts as an ambassador for NBA Cares. He also has a foundation which provides support for the awareness and research of Marfan syndrome.

The game will be held in Madison Square Garden on Feb. 13 and will be televised by ESPN. Broadway star Keke Palmer, of “Cinderella,” will sing the game’s National Anthem. The band MAGIC! will perform their hit, “Rude,” at halftime.

Here are the game’s full details:
