Good morning. Let’s basketball.
Good morning. Mo’ne Davis was the star of NBA All-Star Friday.
That and more in All-Star Saturday’s special NBA newsletter. SUBSCRIBE!

THE SINGLE BEST MOMENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE CELEBRITY GAME: Young baseball ace Mo’ne Davis hitting Kevin Hart with a slick spin move. Hart still won his 4th straight MVP, though.
WORLD 1, USA 0: The World team claimed victory in the Rising Stars Challenge, with Andrew Wiggins and Rudy Gobert leading the way. Gobert was a defensive monster. He basically swallowed one Nerlens Noel attempt. Zach LaVine, who will be in the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday, had some nice highlights, as well. One of them greatly impressed the Cavaliers’ mascot. The Wolves are going to be alright.
SATURDAY SCHEDULE: Adam Silver takes the podium at 7 p.m. ET (NBA TV) and the actual evening events begin at 8:30 ET on TNT. The order: Shooting Stars (see how chubby ex-NBA players have gotten and watch WNBA stars hit sweet bank shots), Skills Challenge (watch one out of eight competitors take it seriously), Shootout (best Shootout field ever!) and Dunk Contest. Speaking of which ...
HE’S NOT NICE EITHER: Russell Westbrook explains why he won’t do the Dunk Contest.
MAN OF IN-TEAGUE: Jake Fischer has a good story on the rise of Jeff Teague, NBA All-Star.
VICE PRESIDENT LEBRON: LeBron James is the new first vice president of the players’ union, the Biden to Chris Paul’s Obama. Now we need LeBron to start acting like Biden.
STRAIGHT CA$H HOMIE: The players’ union has rejected the NBA’s salary cap smoothing proposal, which means the cap could go up to $90 million by 2016. Guh.
INTERVIEW TIME: Fun interviews from Bill Simmons at All-Star. BOOGIE.
THREES ARE THE NEW DUNKS: A compelling case that the Three-Point Shootout is better than the Dunk Contest these days.
NONE AND DONE: On Friday Michele Roberts announced that the union was not interested in adding a year to the league’s age minimum. CBS Sports’ Jon Solomon reports that some NCAA conference commissioners are considering re-implementing the freshmen ineligibility rule. UGH.
PG-13: Paul George is talking about hitting the court by mid-March. The Pacers are lurking!
AND FINALLY: Six simple ways to fix the Dunk Contest.
Happy All-Star Saturday. See you Sunday morning.
