NBA schedule and results: Warriors win their 60th game of the season

In the vaunted West, the Jazz never had a shot at the playoffs. But down the stretch of this season, you can see a quality team begin to develop, one anchored by one of the league’s very best defenses. This season, the Jazz are content to earn meaningless revenge on a spurned teammate. Next year, their aspirations are much higher.

Let’s give the Play of the Night to Westbrook for a basket that didn’t even count, because it was that cool. This is an absolutely killer HORSE shot if he ever perfected it.

It appeared the game was going to be tight. The Grizzlies stayed close in the first half, and played well to do so. The Grizzlies shot 52.9 percent from the field in the first quarter and trailed, 31-24. And even though the Warriors were moving the ball crisply and hitting shots from everywhere on the court, the Grizzlies stayed in it. They were down just 54-49 at the half.
