The freshman big man says goodbye to the Longhorns after just one season.

Turner’s father confirmed to ESPN that the family will submit early-entry paperwork to the NBA this week.
The 6’11, 242-pound 19-year-old averaged 10.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.6 blocks while shooting 46 percent from the field in 22.2 minutes per game. Draft Express has him going No. 12 overall in its latest mock draft. His Longhorns went 20-14 and were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in the Round of 64.
Turner, a Longhorn State native, attended Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, where he became a five-star Rivals.com prospect and was ranked No. 9 in his class. He also played in the 2014 McDonald’s All-American Game.
Despite his up-and-down season, most believe Turner could be a lottery pick.
