Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY SportsKlay Thompson is doing it again. The Warriors are blowing out the Memphis Grizzlies in the first half and Thompson is on fire, finishing the second quarter with 37 points on 14-of-17 shooting from the field. Thompson had 26 points in the second quarter, which would probably seem a lot more impressive if we didn’t see him go off for 37 in one quarter against the Sacramento Kings earlier this season.
Some of these shots are just ridiculous:

The Thunder point guard did pretty much everything for his team, taking 43 of its 95 shots while scoring over half of its points. In a season full of masterpieces, this was one of the most impressive.
The situation wouldn’t be nearly as dire if Oklahoma City had been playing better defense of late. The team allowed a poor Indiana offense to reach its second-highest scoring total of the season, and that was with the Pacers shooting just 22-of-35 from the free throw line.
