The 2015 NBA playoffs kick off on Saturday with four intriguing matchups. The Raptors will open the festivities in Toronto against the Wizards in what promises to be a close series. Following that game the best team of the regular season, the Golden State Warriors, will host Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans for their first postseason game in franchise history. The Bulls and the Bucks will battle after that before the Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks close the day with another chapter in their rivalry.
How to watch the 2015 NBA playoffs online
The 2015 NBA playoffs begin this Saturday. Here’s how you can watch all the action online.
Every game offers something special. John Wall and the Wizards want to prove that last season's second-round appearance was only the beginning of a long run of playoff relevance, while the Raptors want to get the bad taste that a first-round exit in 2014 left in their mouths.
The Warriors are heavily favored to advance against New Orleans but anything is possible when Anthony Davis steps into the court. Regardless of the result, watching Stephen Curry work his magic is always worth your time. Whether Tyreke Evans can come close to matching the prospective's MVP production will determine how long that series ends up being.
Chicago is finally healthy and looking to make a deep postseason run. Derrick Rose will appear in his first playoff game since 2012 and while he's not the same player he was then, he's looking to guide the Bulls past the pesky Bucks. This could be a budding rivalry, as Milwaukee's young core -- headlined by Giannis Antetokounmpo -- should be a playoffs fixture for years to come.
Finally, the Rockets and the Mavericks will be the closest to a grudge match we are getting in the first round. These two teams do not like each other. Houston's general manager Daryl Morey and Mavericks owner Mark have been engaged in a war of words for the past couple of years, with Cuban recently saying that James Harden should win MVP because the Rockets are "not a very good team." A ticket to the second round and crucial bragging rights are at stake.
