First off, a quick introduction. If you don't know what FanDuel is, well, you're missing out. FanDuel is a site that offers daily fantasy sports games. Participants get a chance every day to select new players, fill out a lineup and, most importantly, win some cash. If you choose poorly Monday, you can come back Tuesday and try again. Easy as that. Click here to enter a $2 FanDuel contest that offers a $10,000 prize today.

As for what we're doing in this space: The goal here will be to direct your attention toward some players who you might not otherwise consider. If you're here and reading this, then you already know that LeBron James is really good. But when filling out a roster you can't just pick out stars. You'll blow your cap and get stuck praying to the basketball gods that a guy like Kosta Koufos gets into the game. No, if you want to win, you have to take advantage of certain matchups -- and in order to do that you have to know where to look. That's what we're here for. Also, this space is going to be used to give you advice for the games on Friday, April 3. Thursday night is generally a slower one in the NBA, while Fridays are always packed. So with that, let's get started.

3 players to target

Jordan Clarkson, G, Lakers: Now that the Lakers are tanking, the ball is being put in the hands of some of their younger players, and Clarkson is taking advantage of the opportunity. Check out what he's averaging over his last three games: 20.7 points, 9.3 assists, 6.3 rebounds in 36.7 minutes. Those are $8,000-player numbers, but you can get Clarkson for much less. Also, he's playing the Blazers on Friday. Damian Lillard is one of the poorer defensive point guards in the league; Portland is allowing opposing point guards to score a league-high 46.5 FanDuel points per game over its last 10 games, per Rotoworld. To sum all this up: Clarkson is a must-play on Friday.

Enes Kanter, C, Thunder: By now Kanter is on your radar for sure. So why mention him here? Because another Thunder big man, Steven Adams, got hurt on Wednesday, which means OKC might have to lean on Kanter even more now. Kanter's averaging 20.0 points and 12.4 rebounds in his last five games. He's also only playing 30 minutes in those games. With Adams now possibly joining Ibaka on the sidelines, Kanter might get even more minutes Friday against the Grizzlies.

Ryan Anderson, F, Pelicans: Anderson finally returned to the court on Wednesday after missing a significant amount of time with a knee injury. He played 22 minutes and scored 17 points. On Friday, though, the Pelicans will face the Kings, who can't guard the three-point line. Sacramento is allowing opponents to hit 8.7 three-pointers per game, the third-worst number in the NBA. That bodes well for a sniper like Anderson, whose FanDuel price might not be very high yet.

3 players to avoid

Greivis Vasquez, G, Raptors: With Kyle Lowry out Vasquez has been inserted into the starting lineup. The problem is he's done nothing since receiving the promotion. 10.2 points and four assists, which is what he's averaging over his last five, is not going to help you at all. It's tempting to go with the guy getting more minutes, but in this case, Vasquez is going to do more harm than good.

The Knicks: It's tempting to take a chance one of the numerous low-cost options that this D-League level roster presents. The problem? You never know who to trust. Check out the team's stats from the past five games, via Hoopsstats.com.

Who are you supposed to bet on? Exactly.

Danilo Gallinari, F, Nuggets: The Nuggets are tanking and giving guys random nights off, so that's not helpful. Also, Gallinari, after a hot start under interim head coach Melvin Hunt, has really fallen off. He's averaging just 17.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists over his last seven games, while shooting an awful 38 percent from the field. You should be staying away from most of the Nuggets these days, but especially Gallo.

Other Notables

We mentioned Jordan Clarkson above, but Jeremy Lin is also worth a flyer. He might be a little cheaper than Clarkson, and he's also going to give you some good numbers. Evan Turner is the latest Celtics player to start putting up random big-games. He's averaging 11.2 points, 7.4 assists and 7.0 rebounds per game over his last five.

Jimmy Butler is averaging 21.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game over his last five. And he's playing the Pistons on Friday, who are allowing opposing shooting guards to score 37.6 FanDuel points per game, the third-highest number in the league (per Rotoworld).
