The games were perhaps closer than anticipated, but Cleveland's 2-0 lead against the Celtics as the series heads to Boston is no surprise. The Cavaliers are by far the favorites to win the Eastern Conference and the Celtics are a spunky but overmatched young team learning what the playoffs are all about.
Cavaliers vs. Celtics Game 3: Time, TV schedule and how to watch NBA playoffs online
Boston shouldn’t really be here and many of their players are experiencing the playoffs for the first time, but they’re making the most of it.

Honestly, Boston should look at it as an accomplishment that LeBron James had to score 15 points in the fourth quarter to close out Game 2 in Cleveland on Tuesday. Almost the entire Celtics team are playoff first-timers, including four of the five starters. Even those who have been -- Brandon Bass' 56 games excluded -- are still young and relatively new to it all.
Despite the inexperience, the young Celtics never gave up in Game 2. They pushed the Cavaliers, surging back every time it looked like Cleveland would pull away. They didn’t shoot particularly well, but they made baskets when they needed to.
It’s OK to focus attention on the Celtics, because they don’t have much of a chance and will be sitting at home before long. Cleveland will probably be playing into June and there’s plenty of time to talk about them. Until then, enjoy a fun Boston team that is here despite the odds.
