Warriors vs. Pelicans, NBA playoffs 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream for Game 3

The series moves to New Orleans, where the Pelicans will look for their first playoff win after coming close to stealing a game on the road.

The New Orleans Pelicans will look for their first playoff win in franchise history when they host the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. The series is 2-0 in favor of the Warriors, so this is a must-win game for a Pelicans team that is putting up a better fight than many thought they could going into the playoffs. New Orleans kept things close in Oakland, something not many teams have been able to do all season long. The Warriors are not as dominant on the road, so if the Pelicans play at the level they showed at Oracle, they could emerge victorious.

Anthony Davis has been fantastic so far in his first playoffs appearance. He's averaging over 30 points on 49 percent shooting and nine rebounds. Eric Gordon has been his most reliable sidekick, as Tyreke Evans is struggling with an injury. Gordon is coming from a 23-point game in which he hit five three-pointers. If Ryan Anderson, who has been much better shooting from outside at home than on the road, can come off the bench and provide more floor-spacing, lanes will open up for Evans and Davis.

For the Warriors, the key is always the play of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. The Splash Brothers are averaging a combined 51 points per game. The Pelicans' defense hasn't been able to slow them down so far and that's a big reason why Golden State is ahead in the series. Defensive Player of the Year runner up Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut will be tasked with containing Davis, a job they have been good at so far despite The Brow's numbers. The Warriors have the talent to win it all, but first they will need to dispatch of the Pelicans, which are not making it easy.
