Good morning. Let’s basketball.
Good morning. All of the buzzers have been beaten.
That and more in Monday’s NBA newsletter.

I’M SENSING A TREND: For the third straight day, an NBA playoff game was won at the buzzer. Sunday’s edition came at the hands of LeBron James, who hit a jumper as time expired to prevent overtime and tie the series. On the play David Blatt drew up, LeBron was actually supposed to inbound the ball. LeBron waved that play off and went on his own. It worked.
LeBron actually wasn’t great overall in the slogfest, much like Derrick Rose in Game 3. But the final score is all that counts, and those final shots are all we’ll remember.
Speaking of which: see all three of the buzzer-beaters from the past three days in one Vine.
OH GOD: David Blatt tried to call a timeout when he didn’t have any. Tyronn Lue saved him. That would have been a free throw for Chicago, and possibly the game. Oh man. Whew.
NO BUZZERS IN DANGER HERE: The Clippers pounded the Rockets again, and I’m starting to think Houston isn’t going to win this series. Kevin McHale employed the intentional fouling strategy to gloriously ridiculous extent, giving DeAndre Jordan 28 free throws in the first half. (He hit 10 then, and 4-6 in the third quarter.) You can watch all 34 attempts set to “Roundball Rock,” if you’d like. Even the refs were tired of the hacking. DAJ was also able to get free for a spectacular one-handed alley-oop finish.
MATT BARNES HAS A POTTY MOUTH: Part 2,354.
BLAKE GRIFFIN, NICE GUY: Here is the star of KIA commercials Blake Griffin helping a cameraman get set back up after a collision.
TONIGHT!

Warriors at Grizzlies, 9:30 p.m. ET, TNT, Memphis up 2-1
HOW INTERESTING: Josh Huestis might stay in the D-League another year.
Happy Monday. See you next time.
