All-Star center Pau Gasol will return to the Bulls’ lineup Thursday for Game 6 against the Cavaliers after missing the previous two games with a hamstring injury, he told reporters. He did recommend a minutes limit, according to Bleacher Report’s Ethan Skolnick.
Pau Gasol to return from hamstring injury in Game 6
The Bulls’ center told reporters he will suit up after missing the previous two games.

Gasol has not taken the court since suffering the injury in the third quarter of Game 3 last Friday. The Bulls won without him in that one, but they’ve dropped the past two games with him sitting as the Cavs have taken a 3-2 lead in the series. He will presumably return to the starting lineup, pushing Taj Gibson back into a reserve role and Nikola Mirotic further down the rotation.
Gasol helped the Bulls win Game 1 by nailing jumper after jumper in pick-and-pop situations, but was less effective in Games 2 and 3 before the injury. Still, his shooting, post scoring and passing will help a Bulls offense that has suffered through too many scoring droughts in this series.
