Warriors vs. Rockets 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch NBA playoffs online

The Rockets will look for their first win against the Warriors as the series moves to Houston.

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

The Warriors did what they were supposed to do in Oakland, taking both matchups to get a 2-0 lead over Houston in the West finals. Now it will be the Rockets' time to protect their home or the series could slip through their hands. The first two games have been close enough that nothing seems final but a third win by Golden State would almost secure them a ticket to the NBA finals. The Rockets are playing for their playoff lives.

Stephen Curry and James Harden had a fun duel in Game 2, with the league's MVP scoring 33 points for the Warriors and the runner up 38 for the Rockets. Harden had a chance to win it in the last play but he decided against calling a timeout after securing a rebound with nine seconds left. He couldn't get a shot up and the Warriors prevailed. That mental mistake cost the Rockets a win and was a rare dark spot on an otherwise amazing performance by The Beard.

Houston will need him to put the heartbreak in the past and continue to carry them on offense if they want to find their way back into the series. Dwight Howard was phenomenal on Game 2 but not many Rockets stepped up. Only two other Houston players scored in double digits and only seven players got on the board. The deeper Warriors had a more diversified attack and that trend will likely continue, so the Rockets' stars need to be at the top of their game. For Golden State, Curry will lead the way in the scoring department. If they can string enough stops together, they could find themselves with a 3-0 lead after Saturday.

As their comeback against the Clippers has taught us, it's foolish to count the Rockets out until the clock expires. The Warriors surely know that, so they will come out sharp. Game 3 should be as close and fun as the first two.
