The catalyst has been point guard Stephen Curry, who won NBA MVP after averaging 23.8 points and 7.7 assists per game, and shooting better than 44 percent from beyond the three-point line during the regular season. As absurd as that is, Curry has arguably been even better during the playoffs, averaging 29.2 points per game.
Curry’s magic has helped the Warriors cruise to the NBA Finals -- a run of 21 games during which they’ve lost just three times. Golden State is on the brink of history, and the occasion requires suitable attire:
The Warriors have been the NBA's best team thus far, now all that's left is to seal the deal against LeBron James and company. That's not an easy feat, to be certain, but the Warriors haven't come this far for nothing.
