NBA Draft 2015: Time, TV schedule and more

All the information you need to watch the 2015 NBA Draft.

SB Nation's 2015 NBA Draft Tracker

The NBA Draft will take place on Thursday in Brooklyn. Teams will have a chance to select among the top young prospects in the world, including Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor, Kristaps Porzingis and D'Angelo Russell.

The Minnesota Timberwolves own the first overall pick and are rumored to be leaning towards selecting Towns, the consensus top prospect in the class. The Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, New york Knicks and Orlando Magic, in that order, complete the top five. It will be a chance for franchises going through a rebuilding phase to stock up on some of the potential stars of the future.

The Timberwolves already have the last two No. 1 overall picks in their roster, after receiving Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins in the trade that sent Kevin Love to Cleveland. Adding Towns would give them a great young core to build around. The Magic and 76ers are on a similar path with former lottery picks already on their roster, and are looking to add one more potential star before slowly moving towards relevancy.

For teams like the Lakers and Knicks, the 2015 draft is their best chance of adding a young stud. The two storied franchises have veteran stars in place as well as ample cap room to make additions in free agency, but they traded away future picks, which would make whiffing on their selections especially painful. They simply can’t afford to squander one of the few assets they have left.

While the top two picks will likely be Towns and Okafor, nothing is settled after that. Latvian big man Porzingis has shot up mock drafts and could be in play with the third pick while Russell and Emmanuel Mudiay are also projected to go high. Other prospects like Mario Hezonja, Justise Winslow and Stanley Johnson could sneak in the top five as well.

As always, the draft will have plenty of surprises to offer. Here’s how you can watch it all unfold.
