Ty Lawson has been the frequent subject to trade rumors with some suggesting he could land in Sacramento and play for former Denver coach George Karl. It appears Lawson believes the rumors, especially after Denver drafted point guard Emmanuel Mudiay with the No. 7 pick.

The main rumors around Lawson going to Sacramento have centered on a deal for DeMarcus Cousins. That deal has yet to happen and some suggest the Nuggets are an unlikely trade partner should the Kings deal Cousins. It's possible Lawson could be traded in a separate deal. It's also possible Denver plans to keep him and play him along with Mudiay.
