Mason Plumlee traded to Blazers for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
The Nets center heads West.

The Portland Trail Blazers have traded Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Steve Blake to the Brooklyn Nets for Mason Plumlee and Pat Connaughton, according to reports.
Hollis-Jefferson was the No. 23 pick in Thursday's 2015 NBA Draft. The wing out of Arizona is notable for his fierce, smart defense and lack of a jumper. He will provide some young legs and spring for an aging, slow Nets team. If his offense develops, he could end up a tremendous asset as a two-way player.
Plumlee had good value as a new wave center for Brooklyn before Brook Lopez returned to action and thrived, pushing the Duke product into a supporting role. The 25-year-old has started 67 games for Brooklyn over his first two NBA seasons. He's been an efficient low-volume scorer and solid rebounder, and famously made the USA Basketball senior men's team for the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
Blake is a 12-year veteran near the end of his career who recently picked up a $2.2 million option for the 2015-16 season. Connaughton, who hails from Notre Dame, was the No. 40 pick in Thursday’s draft. He has a 95 mph fastball and his MLB rights are controlled by the Orioles. He has been adamant that he wants to play in the NBA, though.
