With the No. 43 pick in the NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers selected Oregon guard Joseph Young. Young was a dynamic scorer for the Ducks, putting up over 2,300 career points between his time at Houston (where he played his first two seasons) and Oregon.

Young averaged 20.7 points, 3.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds for Oregon this sesaon. He shot 44.8 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from three-point range. He’s considered a scoring point guard who can heat up in a hurry. There will be questions about if he can defend at an NBA level.

Young went off in the NCAA Tournament this past March, scoring 27 points in the Ducks' round of 64 over Oklahoma State, and then scoring 30 against Wisconsin in Oregon's season-ending round of 32 loss.

The Pacers drafted Myles Turner from Texas with their first pick. Turner is expected to replace Roy Hibbert, who has opted out of his contract with the Pacers.
