C.J. Watson has agreed to a three-year, $15 million deal with the Orlando Magic on Thursday, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Watson, 31, is a perimeter shooter with eight years of NBA experience coming off one of his best years. In the 2014-15 season while playing for the Indiana Pacers, Watson averaged 10 points and 3.6 assists in 25 minutes a game in a key role off the bench. For his career, Watson is a 38 percent three-point shooter.
The Magic has had interest in Watson before, acquiring about in availability in 2009 when he was playing for the Golden State Warriors, per the Orlando Sentinel's Josh Robbins.
With the Magic next year, Watson will likely play a similar role to the one he did with Indiana while ideally providing some mentoring to the younger guards on the Magic's roster, including starting point guard Elfrid Payton and starting shooting guard Victor Oladipo.
