If one thing is true when it comes to posterizing an opponent, it's know when to pick your battles. See a 6'3 guard out of position under the basket in no man's land? Go for it! Rudy Gobert, on the other hand, makes for a much more difficult (and very large) obstacle, even if you're Carmelo Anthony:

Anthony probably thought he had a pretty good chance at a dunk, or least two free throw attempts via a foul, after he broke down his defender and drove toward the basket. Gobert did a fantastic job of reacting to slide over and not just reject the drive, but ferociously smack the ball out of the Knicks star's hands before he even came close the rim. It's a clean play, too, so Anthony will just have to chalk this one up as a loss.
