The Warriors lead the league in assists by a mile because everyone on the team can pass. Their center, Andrew Bogut, completed a halfcourt bounce pass to find Stephen Curry in stride that most teams' point guards couldn't make.
Andrew Bogut’s halfcourt bounce pass was the prettiest of the Warriors’ 26 first-half assists
The Warriors put on a passing clinic against the 76ers and tied a franchise record for first-half assists.
It was the Warriors’ 26th assist of the first half, which ties a franchise record. That’s a ridiculous amount. No team outside of Golden State averages 26 assists per game, and they did it in just two quarters, with all 11 players that got minutes contributing at least one assist each.
The Warriors are not just special because they have Stephen Curry. They are doing things as a team that we’ve rarely seen before.
