The Philadelphia 76ers blew an 18-point lead over the Orlando Magic to lose their 40th consecutive game in October and November. Their last win in either of those months was in 2013.
The 76ers lost their 40th straight game before December in excruciating fashion
They lost a double-digit lead and failed to convert in crunch time.

In the Sixers’ final three possessions, Joel ‘The Process’ Embiid turned the ball over twice. He was given the ball deep into the shot clock on both plays, dribbling into traffic on one and traveling on another.
The game closed on a bizarre note as T.J. McConnell was hit with a flagrant foul as he tried to keep Serge Ibaka from scoring a game-winning layup.
Ibaka sunk two shots at the line to win it.
Embiid looked sharp earlier on — which is the only real good news for the Sixers in this one — recording his first double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes. He added four blocks and three assists, but is still waiting on his first NBA win.
