Good morning. Fellow Americans: Happy Thanksgiving! International friends: Happy Thursday! Let’s basketball.
Yes, the Warriors dropped 149 in regulation
Good morning. We have that and more in Thursday’s NBA newsletter.

GADZOOKS: The Warriors dropped 149 points on the Lakers ... in regulation. That hasn’t been done since 2010 (Suns) and the box score was just magical. Golden State’s high scorer (Steph Curry) had just 31. All 13 players on the roster saw action, and only four of them scored in double figures. Patrick McCaw didn’t score at all in 15 minutes! Yet they piled up those points from tip to buzzer.
LOVE IS ALL WE NEED: Meanwhile, Cleveland dropped 137 in regulation themselves as Kevin Love busted out for 40 points ... 34 of those coming in the first dang quarter. (That’s a record.) (How did he only get six more points?!)
PROCESS FAILED, TRY AGAIN: Joel Embiid hit his minutes limit before the Sixers went to a second overtime against the Grizzzlies. So Brett Brown sat him. Embiid was not pleased.
IT BEGINS: The Mavericks have now lost seven straight, the worst losing streak of the Mark Cuban era. In this week’s Reality Index, I wrote that the end is really here for the Mavs and that they need to decide if they are going to rebuild now or wait for Dirk to retire. Plus, I wrote about Kristaps Porzingis as the best Knick and the upside of the Heat.
SCORES GALORE ...

ETERNAL DUNK CONTEST: Zach LaVine with a 360 from the free throw line. Your move, Aaron Gordon.
COME ON, MAN: Ersan Ilyasova flops so bad he elbowed Jerryd Bayless, who is his teammate, in the head.
ALMOST: DeMar DeRozan said it was hard to turn down the Lakers (his childhood team) in free agency. But he instead wants to be the greatest Raptor ever. Watch out, Rafael Araujo!
HEY LITTLE ADMIRAL: David Robinson does the “letter to my younger self” thing at Players’ Tribune.
No games on Thursday, and since there’s unlikely to be much news, we’ll skip the newsletter on Friday.
Be excellent to each other.
