Blake Griffin will undergo a minor operation on his right knee that will keep him out until three to six weeks. The Clippers forward has only missed two games so far this season as Los Angeles has leapt to a 20-8 record.
Blake Griffin will miss 3-6 weeks with minor right knee surgery
Griffin will sit down for a few weeks.

The surgery is a “routine arthroscopic procedure to remove loose bodies” from his knee, according to the Clippers.
Griffin missed his entire rookie season with a stress fracture in his left knee that didn’t initially heal properly. He also missed time last year with injuries to his right hand and left quad, the latter ruling him out for the playoffs.
This season has been typically excellent for Griffin, who is averaging 21 points on 48 percent shooting and 8.9 rebounds. He’s also averaging 4.6 assists.
Historically, the Clippers have always played well when missing Chris Paul or Blake Griffin, although obviously they can only reach their ceiling with both players in the rotation. Given that, the team hopes this knee injury is as minor as expected.
