Jimmy Butler has his first buzzer beater. With the backboard lighting up right as the ball went through, Butler’s stepback jumper beat the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday.

Butler said afterwards that it was his first game-winner in the NBA. That’s not 100 percent true, since Butler did knock down a game-winning triple at the buzzer during the preseason a couple years ago. You might remember the announcer’s call — “they should call him Jimmy Jordan, because he looks like Michael Jordan tonight.” But in the regular season, this is definitely his first.
The game got to this point thanks to Lopez on Lopez crime — Brook dunked on his brother Robin to tie things up.
But Butler and Robin got the last laugh.
