Every important 2016 NBA trade rumor in one place

Keep up with the madness of the NBA trade deadline right here.

Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports

The 2016 NBA trade deadline is Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. Eastern. Last year, Goran Dragic lit a fuse that caused the 2015 trade deadline to deliver what was one of the busiest deadline days the NBA's ever seen. The end result was 11 completed trades, many of which came right at the 3 p.m. deadline, and a stunning 37 different players changing teams on that day alone. That doesn't even count the deals that went down prior to the deadline, including Rajon Rondo to the Mavericks, Timofey Mozgov, J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to the Cavaliers and Jeff Green to the Grizzlies.

This year, the trade deadline is unlikely to be as busy. Teams everywhere are gearing up for the unprecedented salary cap jump that will reach $89 million this summer, giving every team cap space and setting the stage for massive contracts to be thrown around at an admittedly top-heavy class of free agents.

However, the NBA always finds ways to one-up itself. Here are all the important trades and rumors that have happened this season.
