Chicago goes to Cleveland and then the Clippers play the Spurs in the NBA’s first night back.
The East still belongs to the Cavaliers

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY SportsThe Eastern Conference revolves around Cleveland. Channing Frye is a curious fit. He felt like a Kevin Love replacement, except the Cavaliers did not trade Love despite swirling rumors. But regardless of how he is used or where his minutes come from, the Cavaliers will be at the top of the league, and now they have another weapon that can shoot threes.
We really already knew that, All-Star break or otherwise. But for anyone who wasn’t caught up, Thursday should be all the convincing you need.

Clippers tweet a photo of Blake and the trainer

I have no idea if the moment was genuine or not. The two have apparently been longtime friends and Griffin said the two are over the incident. The fact that the Clippers’ official Twitter account sent this out, with the caption “#Family,” makes it feel staged. Either way, this might not be the last moment you see between the two shared publicly.

That is just a really bad six seconds for Garrett Temple. It all started off so well when he had a wide open look at a three-pointer. Then something bad happened with whatever he tried to do with that shot. If that was a shot, it was so bad that the official scorer simply ruled it as a lost ball turnover.
To add insult to injury, Temple not only had the most embarrassing turnover of the night, he also got called for the foul on the end of the play.

John Wall is essentially a one-man fast break. On this play there are four Jazz defenders back, including three with a chance to slow down Wall. There isn’t a single Wizard inside the three-point line. None of that matters as Wall causally splits the defenders like it’s nothing.
The Jazz apparently did not learn from the first experience and again got roasted by Wall and his behind-the-back move. Note to NBA defenders: John Wall is incredibly fast and will embarrass you.
