Down two with one possession left, Damian Lillard missed a potential game-winning three. C.J. McCollum missed the follow-up. All is lost for the Blazers, right?
Jeff Green assisted the Blazers in tipping in the game-tying shot at the buzzer
The Blazers went on to win in overtime. Yikes.
Wrong. Jeff Green is there to save the day. For the wrong team.
There's a lot going on at the rim here, but the Grizzlies' Jeff Green got the last hand on the ball over Allen Crabbe. The bucket counted and tied the game at the end of regulation. Nothing like a good own goal.
Portland went on to win 112-106 in overtime. That’s just a crushing loss for Memphis. That said, the Grizzlies have been the beneficiaries of some bizarre endings in their favor this season. Matt Barnes beat the Pistons on a halfcourt shot in November and Mario Chalmers finished that same team with a junk jumper on a broken play in January. Lady Luck is perhaps just sick of bailing Memphis out.
