Original post: The middle four seeds in the Eastern Conference are still a mess going into the final day of the 2016 regular season. So we built a flowchart to suss it out. Enjoy!
Note that the Cavaliers (No. 1), Raptors (No. 2), Pacers (No. 7) and Pistons (No. 8) have already clinched their seeds. Nothing that happens Wednesday affects their first-round series.
